Nocturnal Score

As part of the Tsonami festival, edition XVI, we walked at night on the slopes of Cerro Baron in Valparaiso, Chile. This experience made me reflect on the relationships between collectivities and individuals who walk and experience the night to listen to each other. Our echoes resounded on foot. When I looked at my steps, I saw a crowd of women and queer walkers. We participated by giving instruction, leading us into an acoustic and street dynamic. Each proposal got up close and personal with listening to get to know each other through movement and sound. That night I walked with the collectives Sonoras from Chile, Akelarre Subversiva from Bolivia and Dodecafónicas from Brazil, as well as artists Donia Jourabchi, Ivonne Villamil, Verónica Luyo and Lisa Hall.
